 Reading YA

The Mostly Reading YA blog has launching its first ever Translation Month and is encouraging young adults to read as many translated titles as possible during April. They have provided a list of suggested titles and there is an introduction to the event by Outside In World. http://mostlyreadingya.blogspot.com

Outside In World is thrilled to announce that Children's Laureate Michael Rosen has chosen to lend us his support. Michael says:

"Outside In World will both be a reminder of how much we enjoy children's books from the past that have been translated into English and an introduction to new works. Literature is an international medium which shares ideas and forms and patterns. I love the way the 'Reading Round the World' project will celebrate this."
Michael Rosen, Children's Laureate, September 2008.
